Clik here to view. The bus is like the house. After a certain age, there is a lot to do. The house is 13 years old and the bus is 5 years old. I won’t say how old I am but I am old enough to know that I don’t want to do all this work when I could be sitting around a campfire in the mountains. Still it won’t go away so I have to get with it!
The headliner is being replaced by Safelite AutoGlass. I had to cut it away to show them where the leaks, that they swore weren’t there, were. They were very nice about it and it should be replaced in a couple of weeks. I am going to take the old one out and all sound proofing and insulation before the new one gets in. I’m also going to run a new antenna wire from the antenna to the radio. I cut that accidently (and spliced it back) when I was doing the first radio upgrade five years ago. It has worked ok but I think it will be better with a wire that has not been spliced.
And that is only the tip of the iceberg with all the things I need to do or want to do.
